Brockway creates a cyberpunk megalopolis that runs on drugs. Crazy drugs. Time-traveling drugs that enable gladiatorial spectacles involving Abraham Lincoln battling a triceratops (and winning!)And he makes it come to life. I enjoyed this book thoroughly.
This is the annotated version, which has a copious amount of the author's research for the foundations of the technology in the book. Fascinating!

Rx A Tale of Electronegativity Annotated Edition eBook Robert Brockway Reviews
First off, check the reviews on the standard version to see it gets a solid 4.5 This version is the same but with added annotation which for me is a plus since I love the author.
If you are a fan of cyberpunk with a bit of humor, ala Snow Crash, then this is your book. Solid premise with very well defined characters and environment. Quickly you begin to love the characters, and want to know what is going to happen. Books like this are very rare to find, well written and very original. It gets my highest recommendations.
This book is amazing, it is both captivating and intriguing, I highly recommend it to any tech nerds out there.
Maybe not, but I've loved reading his articles and other books for years. The annotated version really helps put it all together. Buy it.
A very enjoyable read with many new takes on themes used by other (William Gibson, for one). The annotated edition makes it easier to follow some of the concepts that seem to be taken as 'known'.
I will buy and read more by Mr. Brockway when he produces it.
